En pædagogisk it-vejleder skal have særlig forstand på læreprocesser med digitale værktøjer eller medier. Denne indsigt omfatter naturligt en forståelse for, hvilke rammer og vilkår der skal være til stede, for at disse processer kan indfri deres potentiale. Derfor bliver den pædagogiske it-vejleder en nøgleperson, når skolen drøfter ændringer i undervisningens organisering, eller når den fysiske udformning af nye læringsmiljøer er på dagsordenen.
Fælles Mål 2009 gennemsyres af, at it og medier skal være en naturlig del af den daglige undervisning. I temaet er udgangspunktet et konkret undervisningsforløb, hvori it og medier integreres, og hvor du reflekterer over, hvordan og hvorfor it og medier bidrager til at kvalificere elevens læreproces og undervisningen. I temaet ser du ikke kun på metodiske, pædagogiske, didaktiske, men også organisatoriske forhold set i relation til jeres praksis på skolen.
